This is a semisoild avaleha preparation, sticky, dark brown in color, spicy odour and pungent sweet taste. Indications: Koosmaanda rasayanam is useful when the following symptoms are displayed: - Kasa (cough)

- Urahksata (chest wound)
- Ksaya (phthisis)
- Purana jvara (chronic fever)
- Raktpitta (bleeding disorder)
- Chardi (vomiting)
- Trsna (thirst)
- Daurbalya (weakness)
- Amlapitta (hyperacidty)
Ingredients: - Kusmandaka (benincasa hispida)
- Ghrta (clarified butter from cow's milk)
- Khanda (sugar candy)
- Pippali (piper longum)
- Srngavera (ginger dry)
- Jiraka (cuminum cyminum)
- Tvak (cinnamomum zeylanicum)
- Ela (elettaria cardamom)
- Patra (cinnamomum tamala)
- Marica (piper nigrum)
- Dhanya (coriandrum sativum)
- Ksaudra (honey)
- Jala (water)
