Madanapalas Ayurvedic Tips

Ashwagandha is an amazing rejuvenative for the nervous system and increadible vitaliser - take it as a tea throughout the day or with hot milk and raw sugar (jagger) for increasing energy and vitality.

Try not to eat to much after sunset and leave at least 2 hours before bedtime after eating your last meal. Digestion is stronger in the day time.

Black salt (rock salt) is a powerful medicine and the basis of many Ayurvedic forumale. Use it in place of white salt as much as possible, it has a beautiful flavour too!

Yellow split mung beans are praised in ayurvedic texts for their nutritional value and ease of digestion.

Eat in a calm and peaceful atmosphere without rushing.

Papaya taken after a meal is an excellent boost for digestion and immunity!

Sip hot ginger water made with feshly grated ginger after meals to increase Agni (digestive fire) and for more energy and better immunity!
