Tankan Bhasma, also known as Borax Ash. is a diuretic, emmenagogue, astringent, antacid, & antispetic.

Used in phlegatic complaints, amenorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea, menorrhagia. Promotes uterine pains during labour. Also used in cough, acidity, diarrhoea & chronic bronchitis.
